About us
SIA Dadsons is a Latvian company established in 1997. The company was created by a Dutch Father and Son. In the beginning, the company only focused on timber import and export. The first steps in East and West cooperation were not effortless; cultural differences of nationalities played a big role…
Around 1999 the company changed gears and was joined by a Latvian partner, who helped to develop SIA Dadsons as we know it today. Shortly after that, the company was able to successfully export 5000 m3 of timber. The main export market became the Netherlands.
Over the time span of 20 years SIA Dadsons has grown and developed. From timber importer/exporter it has also become a producer and reproducer of timber by collaborating with Latvian neighbouring countries and the main Eastern trading partner – Russia. SIA Dadsons has expanded the export market from the Netherlands to England, the USA and even Malaysia. Furthermore, it has expanded its assortment from lumber to scaffolding boards, larch, grown and glued timber, etc. SIA Dadsons also offers production with added value – planed, calibrated, brushed and painted material.
Reaching its second adulthood – 21 years, SIA Dadsons set its foot in a large development. It obtained a factory and started production/ manufacturing and now can offer its clients wooden summer houses, wooden garden houses, canopies, garages as well as the realization of individual orders for mostly the European market. The love for wooden garden, summer houses have always been there in the company and now finally they can show the world their real love for it by making the best quality wooden houses.
When it's time to close one book, the next one should be opened - as the situation in the world changes, SIA Dadsons also changes with it. Accepting new challenges, the northern neighboring countries have become the main cooperation partners, and timber from Finland has become the main raw material.
In this time of change, we are also facing new challenges and looking for new markets and new dealers, for strong cooperation in the future.
